The 2017+ Ford Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke is recognized for its capability and reliability. Mishimoto addressed reports of internal leaks in 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercoolers by developing an upgraded intercooler for enhanced performance and durability.

The Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler replaces the stamped and stacked plate stock design with cast aluminum end tanks, precision TIG-welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. The cast end tanks minimize potential failure points, offering greater reliability than cut and welded tanks. Additional durability is provided by a mandrel-bent cold-side pipe and silicone couplers featuring Duracore Technology.

Flow bench testing demonstrated that the Mishimoto intercooler flows 22% better than the stock cooler. On the dyno, this increased flow resulted in a gain of 40 lb-ft of torque on a stock 6.7L Powerstroke. The intercooler is available in powder-coated sleek silver, micro-wrinkle black, or micro-wrinkle blue finishes.

Installation Notes: 11 lb-ft (15NM) is recommended for all constant-tension worm gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 11-14 lb-ft (15-20NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 14 lb-ft (20NM).
