The 2011+ Ford Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke is recognized for its capability and reliability. Reports of internal leaks in the 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercoolers led to the development of an improved intercooler kit.

The Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler kit enhances reliability by replacing the stamped and stacked plate stock design with cast aluminum end tanks, which are precision TIG-welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. The cast end tanks minimize potential failure points, increasing reliability compared to cut and welded tanks. Durability is further improved with aluminum intercooler pipes and silicone couplers featuring Duracore Technology.

Flow bench testing demonstrated that the Mishimoto intercooler flows 22% better than the stock cooler. On the dyno, this increased flow resulted in 40 lb-ft more torque on a stock 6.7L engine. The kit is available with a powder-coated sleek silver, micro-wrinkle black, or micro-wrinkle blue cooler and polished pipes. The product is covered by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: 11 lb-ft (15NM) recommended for all constant-tension worm gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 11-14 lb-ft (15-20NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 14 lb-ft (20NM).
