The 2011+ Ford Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke is recognized for its capability and reliability. Reports of internal leaks in 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercoolers led to the development of an improved solution.

The Mishimoto 6.7L Powerstroke intercooler kit enhances reliability by replacing the stamped and stacked plate stock design with cast aluminum end tanks, precision TIG-welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. The cast end tanks reduce potential failure points compared to cut and welded tanks. The kit also includes aluminum intercooler pipes and silicone couplers with Duracore Technology for added durability.

Flow bench testing demonstrated that the Mishimoto intercooler flows 22% better than the stock cooler. Dyno testing showed a gain of 40 lb-ft more torque on a stock 6.7L engine. The kit is available with a powder-coated sleek silver, micro-wrinkle black, or micro-wrinkle blue cooler and polished pipes.

Installation Notes: 11 lb-ft (15NM) recommended for all constant-tension worm gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 11-14 lb-ft (15-20NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 14 lb-ft (20NM).
