The E90 BMW offers a versatile platform for both daily driving and weekend track use. With minor modifications, the straight six engine can achieve significant power gains. Increased power output can exceed the capabilities of the stock charge air system, making an intercooler upgrade necessary.

Mishimoto has engineered a bar-and-plate intercooler specifically for the BMW 335i, 335xi, and 135i. This direct-fit intercooler provides a 22-percent increase in core volume and requires no modifications to the vehicle. It features cast end tanks and CNC-machined aluminum quick disconnects for compatibility with factory intercooler piping.

The Mishimoto intercooler reduces intake temperatures by 35°F and delivers an increase of over 20 horsepower while maintaining factory boost pressure. Precision TIG welding is used in its construction, and it is available in either a silver or black finish. Installation can be completed in about one hour.
