Keep charged air temperatures low in turbocharged Civic models with the 2016-2021 Honda Civic Performance Intercooler Kit from Mishimoto. The tenth-generation Civic, equipped with the L15B7 engine, faces high intake temperatures due to its stock tube-and-fin intercooler and plastic end tanks.

This intercooler features an all-aluminum, bar-and-plate construction designed to reduce heat and improve performance. Volume is increased by 102% and fin surface area by 97%, resulting in a drop of outlet air temperatures by 20°F over stock, and up to 42°F with a performance tune. The kit also upgrades the intercooler piping to mandrel-bent aluminum and 5-layer, fiber-embedded silicone couplers, increasing piping size from 42 mm to 55 mm and reducing bend angles for improved airflow.

The performance intercooler kit provides up to 4 whp and 8 ft-lbs of torque on stock tuning, with potential gains up to 11 whp and 9 ft-lbs of torque when tuned. The intercooler is available in silver or black, with wrinkle black or Rallye Red piping options. The kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: 27 in-lbs (3NM) recommended for all T-bolt and constant-tension T-bolt clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-35 in-lbs (2-4NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 in-lbs (4NM).
