Description MISHIMOTO MMICP-F2D-03CBK Aluminum Oil Catch Can - Large, Wrinkle Black
Mishimoto has developed a cold-side intercooler pipe and boot kit for the 2003-2007 6.0L Powerstroke. The factory plastic intercooler pipe can be prone to blowing off the intake manifold or bursting under boost. The Mishimoto Powerstroke intercooler kit is designed as a direct replacement for increased reliability and performance.
The factory pipe and boot feature restrictive bends and may not withstand the heat and pressure of high-powered 6.0L engines. The Mishimoto Cold-Side Pipe is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum with a polished finish, eliminating restrictive bends to improve airflow, power, and EGTs. The kit includes Mishimoto Silicone Boots with DuraCore technology for superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil, increasing boot life and preventing leaks and blowouts. Constant-Tension T-bolt Clamps are included for consistent holding power.
This cold-side pipe and boot kit is compatible with the Mishimoto 6.0L Powerstroke Performance Intercooler. For those upgrading both hot-side and cold-side intercooler pipes, a full Intercooler Pipe and Boot Kit is available. The kit comes with the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
Installation Notes: 27 in-lbs (3NM) recommended for all T-bolt and constant-tension T-bolt clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-35 in-lbs (2-4NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 in-lbs (4NM).
