Help reduce engine bay heat with the Mishimoto Turbo Blanket. Turbochargers generate significant heat, which can cause cooling issues depending on placement. The Mishimoto turbo blanket features a volcanic lava rock outer layer and a 96% silica inner layer to help prevent heat from spreading throughout the engine bay.

The interior of the turbo blanket is rated to 1260°C and can withstand up to 982°C of direct exterior heat. Mishimoto Turbo Blankets are available in various sizes and include the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: Blanket Size: Less than 5" - T25/T28; 5"-6" - T3; 7.5"-8.5" - T4; 8.5"-10.5" - T6.

Note: Some smoking is normal during initial break in. This should subside after several heat cycles.

Installation Tips: Always wear protective gloves when handling the turbo blankets. The product contains loose glass fibers that may irritate the skin. Mishimoto turbo blankets are constructed with fire retardant material. However, if the fabric is contaminated with a flammable liquid such as fuel and oil, a fire can start and propagate on the turbo blanket. Mishimoto turbo blankets are not designed to be removed and reinstalled multiple times. They will become rigid and brittle after several heat cycles due to the material's thermal properties. Ensure that the turbo blanket and fastening parts do not interfere with moving components on and near the turbo during installation.
