Help reduce heat in the engine bay with the Mishimoto Turbo Blanket. One of the main drawbacks to a turbocharger is the significant amount of heat it produces, which can lead to cooling issues depending on placement.

With a volcanic lava rock outer layer and a 96% silica inner layer, Mishimoto turbo blankets effectively prevent heat from permeating throughout the engine bay. The interior is rated to 1260°C and can withstand up to 982°C of direct exterior heat. Mishimoto Turbo Blankets are available in various sizes and include the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: Blanket Size: Less than 5" - T25/T28; 5"-6" - T3; 7.5"-8.5" - T4; 8.5"-10.5" - T6

Note: Some smoking is normal during initial break in. This should subside after several heat cycles.

Installation Tips: Always wear protective gloves when handling the turbo blankets. The product contains loose glass fibers that may irritate the skin.

Warning: Mishimoto turbo blankets are constructed with fire retardant material. However, if the fabric is contaminated with a flammable liquid such as fuel or oil, a fire can start and propagate on the turbo blanket.

Note: Mishimoto turbo blankets are not designed to be removed and reinstalled multiple times. They will become rigid and brittle after several heat cycles due to the material's thermal properties.

Important: Ensure that the turbo blanket and fastening parts do not interfere with moving components on and near the turbo during installation.
