Mishimoto offers a direct-fit coolant filter kit for the 2016-2019 Nissan Titan XD, designed to help prevent factory cooler clogs and failures. The application-specific mounting bracket secures a precision CNC-machined 6061 aluminum filter mount and Wix coolant filter to the passenger side battery mount, allowing for easy filter removal. This coolant filtration system is routed in parallel with the coolant flow path, filtering a small amount of coolant with each pass.

The kit includes two brass ball valves to make filter changes cleaner. The two silicone coolant hoses are designed as one-piece hoses to reduce the possibility of leaks and are available in black, blue, or red. Installation takes less than 45 minutes and requires no modification. The kit helps protect the oil cooler, water pump, EGR cooler, coolant, and other critical engine components.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs recommended for all worm gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs.

Recommendation: Mishimoto recommends changing the coolant filter after the first month, again after 3 months, and then every year after that, depending on driving conditions. Because each engine was cast differently, there will be a different amount of debris collected.
