Kia entered the luxury sedan market with the Stinger GT, featuring an intuitive automatic transmission paired with a 3.3L twin-turbocharged V6 engine. The combination of direct injection and turbocharging can lead to carbon buildup over time. The Mishimoto 2018+ Kia Stinger GT Direct-Fit Catch Can Kit is designed to help maintain engine performance by reducing this buildup.

This catch can kit includes a robust, application-specific bracket and a compact 2-port catch can that installs in line with the factory PCV system to separate fuel vapors and oil droplets from crankcase pressure. The kit features a 50-micron bronze filter to capture blow-by particles, and pre-molded hoses for quick installation, typically under 30 minutes. The Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty is included for added protection.

Mishimoto catch cans differ from most air-oil-separator systems by not being heated, allowing all blow-by to condense in the can. Unlike AOS systems that drain blow-by back into the oil pan, Mishimoto catch cans trap contaminants and keep them out of the engine permanently.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch cans every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.
