The Mishimoto Direct Fit Baffled Oil Catch Can provides an added layer of protection for the 3.0T TFSI engine in the 2018+ Audi S4 and S5. While the factory air-oil-separator (AOS) system removes some oil and fuel vapors, contaminants can still reach the intake valves. This catch can kit installs in line with the PCV system, immediately after the factory separator, to help protect intake components.

The kit features a patent pending 2-port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can with a 50-micron bronze filter and internal baffle for improved separation of oil from crankcase vapors. Direct fit hoses and two Mishimoto One-Way Performance Check Valves are included for straightforward installation and to prevent pressurization. A petcock drain kit is provided for easy servicing. The catch can is not heated, allowing all blow-by to condense in the can and keeping contaminants out of the engine permanently.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch cans every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.
