The Mishimoto BMW N20/N26 Baffled Oil Catch Can is designed to reduce carbon buildup, a common issue with direct fuel injection N20 and N26 engines. This catch can kit utilizes the Mishimoto 2-Port Compact Baffled Oil Catch Can with a bronze filter and internal baffle to effectively separate oil from crankcase vapors.

A CNC-machined lid features large inlet and outlet ports to match the inner dimension of the CCV hose. The baffled oil catch can helps protect the intercooler, intake system, and VANOS system from oil blow-by, while maintaining proper octane levels to reduce the risk of detonation.

The kit includes two direct-fit hoses that require no modification to the engine cover and a direct-fit mounting bracket for easy installation and serviceability. Two CNC-machined aluminum 3/4-inch barb fittings connect the hoses to the can.

Note: This kit does not require the use of hose clamps, and they are not included.

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch can every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.

Important: Does not fit models with BMW's Xenon Headlight lighting package.
