This Mishimoto baffled oil catch can kit is designed to reduce carbon buildup in 2015-2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost models, a common issue with direct-injected engines. The direct-fit catch can kit connects to the PCV system to capture maximum blow-by during both normal and aggressive driving conditions.

The kit features a patented 2-port compact baffled oil catch can, equipped with a bronze filter and internal baffles to separate oil, fuel, and water from crankcase gases. This ensures that only clean air returns to the intake system. The catch can is fully serviceable and does not require replacement filter media—simply disassemble, clean with soapy water, and reassemble.

Included are two direct-fit hoses with preassembled quick-disconnect fittings for straightforward installation, as well as a direct-fit mounting bracket that positions the can in a serviceable location for easy draining. Two CNC-machined aluminum fittings provide reliable, leak-free hose connections.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Note: This product has been updated from its original configuration. You will receive straight fittings and 90-degree bend hoses; the original kit included 90-degree bend fittings and straight fitting hoses.

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch cans every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.
