This system provides a comprehensive solution for protecting the LTG engine from oil blow-by. It combines both the PCV and CCV Baffled Oil Catch Can Kits in one package. The Mishimoto 2013-2019 Cadillac ATS 2.0T Catch Can System is designed to effectively combat oil blow-by, keeping the intake, charge pipes, and turbocharger compressor free of oil.

The kit uses a patent-pending solution that extracts blow-by using a hidden PCV valve inside the valve cover. Two 50-micron bronze filter-equipped catch cans are included, with application-specific mounts and silicone hoses. The dual billet 6061 aluminum catch cans mount securely under the hood and install in under an hour. All mounting and installation hardware is included, and the system is covered by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Mishimoto catch cans differ from most air-oil-separator (AOS) systems in several ways. The catch cans are not heated, allowing all blow-by to condense, including low-octane oil vapors and contaminated fuel vapors. Unlike most AOS systems that drain blow-by back into the oil pan, these catch cans trap blow-by and keep it out of the engine permanently.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).

Recommendation: After installation, Mishimoto recommends checking the contents of the baffled catch can every 1,000 miles until a baseline is established. Oil blow-by accumulation will vary with ambient temperatures and driving conditions. It is important that the contents of the can do not rise above the internal baffle.
