Mishimoto has developed a performance air intake engineered specifically for the 2001–2006 BMW E46 330i. This intake is safe to use with the stock tune and will not affect air/fuel ratios under load. The intake features a unique and aggressive tone, with a free-flowing design that amplifies engine induction sounds.

The stock E46 intake duct is used to provide cool airflow to the high-flow Mishimoto oiled air filter, which offers increased filtration surface area compared to the stock paper filter. The filter can be cleaned and reused for a lifetime of service. The kit includes a steel heatshield with pre-assembled rubber trim to keep hot engine air out and help draw cold outside air in.

This unit is a complete bolt-on that works with the stock tune and can be installed in one hour using common hand tools. The intake kit is also compatible with Mishimoto silicone E46 Intake Hoses. The kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Recommendation: For the best performance from the Mishimoto intake, it is recommended to clean and re-oil the oiled air filter every 10,000–15,000 miles during normal driving. If driving frequently in dusty or off-road conditions, inspect the filter more often and service it whenever it appears dry or heavily coated with debris.

Note: Filter re-oil is not included in the Lifetime Warranty.
