The MHD TUNING MHD FlexFuel Kit is designed to enable FlexFuel functionality on supported MHD tuned vehicles. The system uses a CAN Ethanol Content Analyzer to read information from the E85 sensor, convert it to CAN format, and send it to the engine computer DME.

The FlexFuel function allows the engine computer parameters to adjust on the fly based on ethanol content information from the ECA. Correct tuning for the E85 blend used is required, as an incorrect tune can cause improper engine operation and possible engine damage.

The kit is designed as a plug-and-play installation with connectors and fuel hoses. It does not require wire splicing or soldering. The included hoses are tested at 10 bars of static pressure, equal to 145 Psi.
