The oversized K&N 16 inch air filter top and base plates are designed to be used with a variety of 16 inch K&N air filters to enhance performance in carbureted race cars. The plates are constructed from lightweight aluminum with a spun aluminum finish, and the top plate features K&N logos embossed on the outer edge.

The base plate is compatible with carburetors that have a 7-5/16 inch air horn flange and lowers the filter 1-1/2 inches below the carb flange. The drop base design allows for maximum air filter height while maintaining hood clearance in many custom racing setups. These plates are suitable for use with different heights of 16 inch diameter K&N high-flow air filters, including models such as E-3022R, E-3023R, E-3024R, E-3025R, E-3026R, and other off-road racing variants.
