The K&N 69-7080-1TS Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for select Infiniti G35 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake, which is engineered to pull in cooler air and reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow.

This system allows the engine to inhale a larger amount of denser air compared to the factory intake, resulting in more usable power and improved acceleration throughout the RPM range. The 69-7080-1TS intake includes a K&N high-flow air filter that mounts behind the driver-side wheel well, directing cooler outside air through free-flowing aluminum tubing into a short ram induction tube and into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized cone-shaped air filter comes with a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap for moisture protection and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. Installation is typically completed in 90 minutes or less.
