The K&N 69-1207TR Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for select Honda Accord models. The factory air filter and intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake, which is engineered to draw in cooler air and reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening the air path.

This system allows the engine to take in a larger volume of denser air compared to the factory intake, resulting in increased usable power and improved acceleration across the RPM range. The 69-1207TR features a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter mounted near the driver side wheel well, directing cooler outside air through free-flowing aluminum tubing into a short ram induction tube, delivering high volumes of clean, colder air to the throttle body for a guaranteed power gain.

The oversized cone-shaped air filter includes a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap for moisture protection and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward and typically takes 90 minutes or less.
