The K&N 69-0021TS Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for select Acura TL models. The factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake, which is engineered to draw in cooler air and reduce air flow restriction by smoothing and straightening the air path.

This system allows the engine to take in a larger volume of denser air compared to the factory intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration across the RPM range. The 69-0021TS includes a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that installs in the front, bottom inner fender to capture cooler outside air. The oversized cone-shaped air filter comes with a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap for moisture protection and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions.

Installation is relatively straightforward and typically takes 90 minutes or less. The system replaces the entire factory air intake and directs air through the cold air tube and into a short ram intake tube leading to the throttle body for a guaranteed power gain.
