Description K&N 63-3096 Performance Air Intake System AIRCHARGER; CADILLAC CTS-V V8-6.2L F/I; 2016-2017
The K&N AirCharger 63-3096 air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in select Cadillac CTS-V models. This system enables the engine to draw in a larger volume of air compared to the factory air filter assembly, resulting in increased usable power and improved acceleration across the engine's RPM range.
The K&N air filter features multiple layers of oiled cotton gauze to enhance airflow and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. The intake tube is constructed from carbon fiber to reduce weight and enhance engine bay appearance. The design accommodates the factory MAF sensor and crank case vent fitting, while a heat shield helps keep out hot engine bay air and utilizes existing factory mounts for installation.
