The K&N 57-3503 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in select Honda Civic and CRX models. K&N intakes are engineered to reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow. This enables the engine to draw in a larger volume of air compared to the factory air filter assembly.

The 57-3503 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter with a screw thread for installation in the original air box location. Air is directed through an aerodynamically designed intake tube into the engine's throttle body, providing a guaranteed power gain. The oversized tapered cylinder-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and standard tools.
