The K&N 57-3092 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on select Chevrolet Camaro SS models. K&N air intakes are engineered to reduce air intake restriction and smooth air flow, allowing the engine to draw in more air than the factory assembly. Increased airflow provides more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range.

This intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the original air box location. Air is routed through an aerodynamically designed intake tube into the throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube is designed to accommodate the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions. Installation is straightforward and typically takes 90 minutes or less using factory mounting points.
