Compared to the factory ceramic catalyst with its fine cell structure, the HKS Metal Catalyzer uses a low-cell-density metal substrate to significantly reduce exhaust back pressure.

• Complies with Japan’s 2018 exhaust emissions regulations through an optimized precious metal composition, with certification from a third-party testing organization
• Optimized 4-2-1 equal-Length layout with equal pipe Lengths across all four primary pipes
• Redesigned cylinder head-side flange improves the stepped transition at the pipe insertion area

Flash Editor Features

ECU reflashing can be performed by connecting the Flash Editor to the vehicle’s diagnostic connector (OBD-II port).

• Phase 1: Provides speed limiter adjustment only
• Phase 2: Increases engine power by optimizing ECU maps, including valve timing, fuel injection, ignition timing, and throttle control
• Phase 3: Includes two dedicated data sets: one for the HKS GT2 Supercharger Kit and one for the bolt-on turbo kit. The desired data set can be selected using the included initialization tool. This phase is ideal for planned GT2 Supercharger Kit upgrades
• Vehicle testing is conducted during ECU reflashing development and calibration to help ensure reliable operation

Note: Before vehicle repair or inspection, always restore the ECU to the factory data in accordance with the instruction manual. The preset data is Designed for use with HKS products. If parts other than those specified are installed, tuning by an authorized HKS Power Writer dealer is required.  One Flash Editor unit is required for each vehicle. A single Flash Editor cannot be used with multiple vehicles. A separate USB communication cable, USB Type-A male to USB Micro-B male, is required to connect the Flash Editor to a PC.

Remarks: When using any data other than Phase 1, remove any aftermarket throttle controller installed on the vehicle. When using Phase 3 data for the supercharger, use a D43 mm restrictor for the supercharger.
