The HKS 24998-AN005 Crank Damper Pulley is designed for rear-wheel-drive Nissan vehicles equipped with the SR20DET engine. It is intended for use as part of the dedicated SR20 crankshaft and camshaft position sensing system, supporting independent signal management for more accurate crank angle detection and expanded engine tuning capabilities.

The dedicated crank damper pulley was jointly developed with ATI Performance Products and incorporates an integrated trigger wheel. Its configuration enables the crankshaft position signal to be detected independently from the camshaft position signal, reducing the influence of timing chain fluctuation on engine speed recognition.
