New G16E-GTS Piston & Conrod Kit for High Compression: Original Piston Crown Design to improve knock resistance.
Billet Piston Kit Bore: d-87.5 / Weight: 352g
- To enhance knock resistance and achieve higher compression ration, we have adopted HKS's unique "Triple Tumble" crown structure. (Triple Tumble crown structure)
- The piston crown's design creates a third tumble flow on the intake side as the piston moves upward. This quickly spreads the flame near the edge of the intake side, which helps prevent engine knock.
- High-temperature-resistant A2618 material and precision machining combine to deliver significant weight.
- "Bridge Concept Design" (BCD) structure enhances structural rigidity and contributes to weight reduction.
- Three oil jets deliver cooling oil precisely for effective cooling.
- Nickel plating above the top ring groove improves knock resistance and wear resistance.
- A two-layer coating enhances anti-seizure properties and reduces friction.
- Original shortening piston pin design reduces the weight of the piston pin boss section.
- Titanium coating on the top ring enhances durability.
- Precisely machined edges prevent heat spots.
Billet I-beam connecting rod
- Features machined nickel-chrome steel I-beam connecting rods. 25% stronger than the stock components.
- Compatible with d-24 piston pins.
- Surface is finished with a WPC treatment to increase fatigue strength.
