The GIRODISC A2-154 rear brake rotor kit is a high-performance iron rotor upgrade designed to directly replace the OEM PCCB (carbon ceramic) discs on select Porsche models. Installation requires no modifications and the rotors are fully compatible with OEM calipers and pads. Each rotor features a floating two-piece design with a U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum hat and a proprietary cast iron disc. The curved vane design functions as a centrifugal pump for maximum cooling efficiency. The floating mount system uses 12 cadmium-plated, high-strength alloy steel pins that enable axial and radial float while minimizing noise through the use of anti-rattle spring washers. This design ensures quiet operation, optimal pad alignment, and superior thermal expansion handling under track conditions.
