These GiroDisc 2-piece rotors are a direct replacement for the rear rotors on the Audi C7 RS6. These fully floating assemblies help reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass from the rear axle.

The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting formulated to GiroDisc's specifications. This metallurgy helps the rotors withstand hard use, while the curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, pulling air through the hub to cool the discs. The 2-piece design features a reusable hat that can be installed onto new rings when replacement is required.

All major components, including the hats, rotor rings, and drive pins, are manufactured in-house at GiroDisc's facility in Bellingham, WA, from domestically sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. The drive pins are made from a high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. The rotors are assembled with spring clips and spring washers for race-ready float while remaining street-friendly, with no noise from loose hardware.

Recommendation: GiroDisc recommends replacing the rings when they reach minimum thickness or if a crack forms leading to the edge of the ring.

Why 352mm and not 356mm?:

The factory rotors are advertised as having a diameter of 356mm. However, this is misleading because the flower-shaped rotors measure 356mm only at the outer diameter of the petals. The pad sits 2 millimeters inside the outer edge of the petals, and the GiroDisc rotors are designed to match the pad location.
