The GIRODISC 2-piece front rotor system is engineered as a direct replacement for the original equipment brake rotors used with the AP Racing / Essex big brake kit on BMW F8X M2, M3, and M4 models. The rotors bolt directly to the vehicle without any modifications and operate seamlessly with OE calipers supplied in the kit. The two-piece floating design allows the cast iron rotor ring to be replaced independently when worn, reducing long-term service costs.

Each rotor is approximately 2 kg lighter than the factory unit, significantly reducing rotational and unsprung mass. This weight reduction contributes to improved acceleration, more responsive suspension behavior, and enhanced overall vehicle dynamics. The curved vane, vented construction is optimized for efficient airflow and thermal stability under high-performance driving conditions.
