The FERREA SL1178 spring seat locator is designed for Ford Coyote 5.0L DOHC 32-valve engines used in Mustang GT (S197/S550/S650) and F-150 (Mk13/Mk14) applications. It provides precise and stable positioning of the valve spring, ensuring consistent valvetrain control under high-load and high-RPM operation. The component is engineered to function as part of a one-piece assembly that integrates the locator with the valve seal. It is required when using Ferrea valve springs S2027 and S10181.
