Eventuri presents the BMW Z8 Intake System — a meticulously engineered upgrade developed to elevate the overall driving experience of the iconic Z8. Crafted from 100% pre-preg carbon fiber, the system harmoniously combines function and form to deliver a fitting enhancement for this legendary platform.

The Eventuri intake system enhances the OEM Z8 airbox by increasing its volume and optimizing the geometry of the airbox lids. Featuring integrated MAF tubes, the redesigned lids restructure airflow by eliminating restrictions that would otherwise hinder engine performance. Areas of stagnation within the airflow path are significantly reduced, enabling the panel filters to operate more efficiently. The result is a sharper throttle response and an increase in overall engine performance. The OEM airbox bases, which already feature a well-designed integrated cold air feed extending behind the front bumper, remain in place. The Eventuri system builds upon this solid foundation with upgraded and refined lids.

To further improve airflow dynamics, the intake system incorporates custom-engineered flexible hoses with smoother internal surfaces. These hoses are designed to reduce turbulence, allowing for a more stable and uninterrupted airflow into the engine — a key factor in improving performance under various driving conditions.

Airbox Lids

The airbox lids are designed with integrated MAF tube sections, enabling a more streamlined airflow route through the panel filters and into the intake tract. By minimizing turbulence and areas of stagnation, these redesigned lids outperform the OEM configuration. The number of joints and interfaces has also been reduced for improved reliability and flow consistency. Additionally, the internal volume of the lids has been maximized to support a higher airflow rate to the engine.

Inlet Tubes

To connect the upgraded airbox lids to the plenum, bespoke inlet tubes have been developed. These tubes maintain a smooth transition into the plenum while incorporating a flexible section to accommodate engine movement, ensuring durability under dynamic conditions.

Custom Panel Filters

High-flow panel filters included in the system feature a multi-layer dry filtration medium that provides excellent filtration efficiency while maintaining strong airflow characteristics. Designed for performance and convenience, the filters are fully washable and reusable, just like the brand’s cone filters.
