The EVENTURI Hybrid Airbox System is developed for the BMW E85 Z4M, combining the characteristic CSL-style induction sound with the functionality of a conventional intake system. The design retains the OEM MAF sensor, eliminating the need for ECU remapping while maintaining stable throttle response and consistent drivability. The system improves airflow efficiency and delivers reliable performance under varying driving conditions.

Main airbox assembly

The main airbox is constructed from prepreg carbon fiber and houses six intake trumpets along with integrated breather connections. The structure is engineered to produce a resonant induction sound under load while maintaining durability. Mechanical fasteners and gaskets ensure an airtight seal resistant to heat cycles and vibration.

The intake trumpets are manufactured from thermoplastic for precise geometry and smooth internal surfaces. Stainless steel reinforcement rings prevent deformation under clamping loads.

Airbox snorkel

The carbon fiber snorkel channels airflow smoothly into the airbox and integrates the OEM MAF sensor via a CNC-machined mounting interface. The assembly is secured with vibration-resistant fasteners.

CFD optimized design

The airbox geometry has been refined using CFD simulations to ensure balanced airflow distribution, minimizing turbulence and maintaining consistent intake performance.

Intake housing assembly

The intake housing features a carbon fiber construction with a reverse-mounted high-flow filter. The design reduces pressure loss compared to the OEM system and ensures smooth airflow into the MAF section.

Patented technology

The filter housing incorporates a Venturi geometry with a gradual reduction in cross-sectional area, accelerating airflow while maintaining laminar flow characteristics.

Cold air scoop

The cold air scoop directs ambient air into the intake inlet from behind the front grille, contributing to lower intake temperatures and improved airflow supply.
