This clutch is compatible with all Porsche 992 911 Turbo models and 971 Panamera 4S Diesel, Turbo, Turbo S, Turbo S E-Hybrid, and 4S E-Hybrid variants. It is not compatible with lower horsepower trims such as the Carrera, Targa, or Panamera base, 4, 4S, and GTS models.

As with the 991-series clutches, there are two variations of the 992 clutch core—referred to as 'Short Core' and 'Tall Core'. While the external dimensions are identical, internal dimensions and lid geometry differ. The Short Core can only accept a 6-plate Dodson clutch, whereas the Tall Core accommodates a 7-plate unit. Product listings have been updated to reflect this classification. Although retrofitting a Tall Core into a Short Core vehicle may be possible, it could require additional tuning and adjustments to the Transmission Control Module (TCM), which has not been verified.

Based on current knowledge, the Tall Core is typically found in all 992 911 Turbo models and the 971 Panamera 4S Diesel, Turbo, Turbo S, Turbo S E-Hybrid, and 4S E-Hybrid. Additionally, it has been identified that 992 GT3 vehicles utilize the previous-generation 991 sealed-style clutch (ND2015 2WD).
