Description CZP by CSF 21457-4D101 Upgraded Heat Exchanger (Black) for Nissan Z (RZ34)
The CZP intercooler heat exchanger, developed in partnership with CSF, is designed to improve thermal management of the VR30DDTT water-to-air intercooler system. The factory cooling system is susceptible to heat soak after repeated acceleration runs, causing the engine management system to reduce boost pressure and torque to control intake air temperatures.
Although Nissan increased the frontal area and overall size of the factory heat exchanger compared with the units used in the Q50 and Q60, its cooling capacity can remain insufficient during demanding operation, particularly in hot climates. The upgraded CZP heat exchanger features more than three times the coolant capacity of the factory core, twice the core thickness, and an improved core design. These changes increase cooling capacity and help maintain stable power output for longer periods under sustained load.
