Description CZP by CSF 21457-4D100 Upgraded Heat Exchanger (Silver) for Nissan Z (RZ34) 

The CZP intercooler heat exchanger, developed in partnership with CSF, is designed to improve thermal management of the VR30DDTT water-to-air intercooler system. Under repeated acceleration, the factory system can experience heat soak, causing the engine management system to reduce boost pressure and torque in order to control intake air temperatures.

Nissan increased the frontal surface area and overall size of the factory heat exchanger compared with the unit used in the Q50 and Q60, but its cooling capacity may remain insufficient under sustained load, particularly in hot climates. The upgraded CZP heat exchanger provides more than three times the coolant capacity of the factory core, twice the core thickness, and an improved core design to increase cooling performance and maintain power output for longer periods.
