Description BORLA 400853 Crate Mufflers S-Type 2.5" x 2.5" GM Stock 396 CID

BORLA's CrateMuffler is designed specifically to optimize the sound and power of crate and custom-built engines. This muffler is directional, with the outlet identified by the mounting bracket welded to the endcap. It is tuned for the Chevrolet Big Block 396, 402, and 427 CID V8 engine family.

The directional design delivers the classic S-Type sound and significantly reduces or eliminates drone on specified applications. Adding resonator 400938 will achieve the Touring sound. The muffler is constructed from premium T-304 stainless steel, which offers greater performance and durability compared to T-400 series materials.
