Description BMC FB335/01 AIR FILTER 185x386
The BMC air filter features a metallic mesh with an oiled multilayer cotton filtration material. This design ensures a high level of filtering efficiency while minimizing air pressure loss. The oil provides the material with an adhesive property, helping to retain air impurities without restricting airflow, resulting in a continuous filtering process.
The cotton filtrating element is housed in an external support frame that interfaces with the air-box for secure installation. All stages of production, from design to manufacturing, are performed in Italy by Italian engineers using high-quality materials. BMC air filters are reusable, as the cotton material can be washed with a special detergent and re-oiled, reducing the need for frequent replacements and minimizing environmental waste.
BMC operates in automotive, racing, aerospace, nautical, and industrial sectors, adhering to the specific regulations and requirements of each. Rigorous testing ensures higher quality compared to paper, foam, and plastic materials. Filtration tests are conducted according to ISO 5011 standards, with BMC Air Filters achieving a 98.5% filtering efficiency.
Recommendation: Use only original BMC kits for regeneration, as other products may not be effective or could damage the filter and void the warranty.
