ARP piston ring compressors are designed to simplify piston installation for both first-time users and professional engine builders. These tools allow controlled and accurate installation of pistons into the cylinder by evenly compressing the piston rings as the piston is guided into place.
The compressors are available in a wide range of diameters to ensure direct fitment to specific cylinder bores. A precision-machined tapered surface compresses the piston rings smoothly into the piston as downward pressure is applied. Each compressor is manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and machined to a true radius for its specific diameter, ensuring accurate alignment and consistent fitment within the cylinder. An anodized finish provides durability and long-term service life.
