The AMS Performance Nissan Z Heat Exchanger is designed to help maintain lower intake temperatures and support maximum power output in a variety of demanding conditions. Unlike traditional air-to-air front mount intercoolers, the 3.0L twin turbocharged Nissan Z uses an air-to-water heat exchanger system, which can become heat soaked under high load or extreme temperatures, reducing performance.

This heat exchanger features a core that is double the thickness of the factory unit and offers a 198% increase in core size over OEM, providing significant improvements in heat transfer and thermal stability. The CAD designed and CNC machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum end tanks, along with a motorsport quality tube and fin core made in the UK, ensure durability and efficient cooling. The design allows for direct bolt-on installation with no cutting or drilling required.

The unit fits in the factory location, maintaining compatibility with oil coolers, A/C components, and parking assist sensors. Increased fluid capacity and optimized fin density further enhance cooling performance, making it suitable for both stock and modified vehicles.
