The AMS Performance BMW S55 Charge Pipes for the F80 M3, F82 and F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition are designed to provide maximum airflow for maximum horsepower and torque. By increasing the size of the charge pipes on the S55 engine by up to 72%, they allow for more airflow, resulting in a significant increase in HP and torque.

Designed as a complete package including both upper charge pipes and lower J-pipe, each pipe is powder coated in wrinkle black for appearance and durability and features a screen printed ALPHA logo. With CNC machined billet compressor outlet flanges, 6061 T6 aluminum tubing, and an integrated 1/8″ NPT port for methanol injection or nitrous, the AMS Performance BMW M3/M4/M2 Competition S55 Charge Pipes are a direct replacement for the failure-prone OEM plastic piping.

The AMS Snailworks Engineering Team developed the BMW S55 Charge Pipes upgrade to be both highly effective and easy to install. The piping upgrade was designed using Solidworks CAD software and validated with rigorous on-track testing. It fits like stock without any cutting or drilling, and with a 72% increase in cross sectional area at the largest restriction in the OEM tube, the AMS S55 Charge Pipes are a substantial upgrade over stock.

Component design and material selection were key considerations during development, which is why top tier materials were chosen as the foundation of the AMS Performance BMW S55 Charge Pipes. The flanges are manufactured from billet 6061 T6 aluminum and precision CNC machined for a consistent fit. The use of billet flanges allowed integration of OEM-style fitment features so the piping locks into place as BMW intended, and smoothly radiused transitions from flange to pipe provide an unrestricted path for air entering the engine.
