The AMS Performance Toyota GR Supra Heat Exchanger is designed to keep intake temperatures lower and maintain maximum power output, whether in hot climates, during drag racing, or on high-speed runs. The 3.0L turbocharged B58 engine in the GR Supra uses an air-to-water heat exchanger rather than a traditional air-to-air front mount intercooler. While this system is adequate for stock vehicles under ideal conditions, it can quickly become heat soaked and reduce horsepower.
This heat exchanger features CNC machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum end tanks and a motorsport-grade dual-pass core. The design increases fluid capacity by 122% and core volume by 54% over the stock unit, improving thermal stability and cooling efficiency. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory hoses, clamps, and mounting points for a secure, OEM-style fit with no cutting or drilling required.
The high-efficiency, dual-pass core allows coolant to make two passes through the exchanger, maximizing heat dissipation. The 5mm tall louvered fins increase surface area and promote efficient heat transfer. The billet end tanks are precision CNC machined to integrate OEM-style fitment features, ensuring a secure and precise installation.
