The AMS Performance Front Mount Intercooler for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is designed to keep intake temperatures lower and maintain maximum power output in all conditions, whether in hot climates, drag racing, or during extended high-speed runs. This intercooler features aluminum end tanks and a large 28.5″ wide core that fills the front bumper opening to maximize airflow. Each intercooler is hand TIG welded for a precise fit and pressure tested for durability and performance.

The 4″ thick AMS intercooler core is selected based on extensive motorsports experience, optimizing cooling efficiency. The kit includes 2.5″ intercooler piping, custom silicone couplers with OEM-style BOV mounting, and all necessary hose clamps and hardware for installation from the throttle body to the compressor outlet. An optional bumper beam is available for those seeking an OEM-like installation.

Note: Slight trimming of bumper ducting and removal of the factory bumper beam are required.
