The AMS Performance Front Mount Intercooler for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is designed to keep intake temperatures lower and maintain maximum power output in various conditions, including hot climates, drag racing, and high-speed driving. This intercooler features aluminum end tanks and a large 28.5″ wide core that fills the front bumper opening, maximizing airflow through the core. Each AMS intercooler is hand TIG welded and pressure tested to ensure performance and durability.

The 4″ thick AMS intercooler core is selected based on extensive motorsports experience to optimize turbocharger systems. The kit includes 2.5″ intercooler piping, custom silicone couplers with OEM style BOV mounting, hose clamps, and hardware from the throttle body to the compressor outlet. An optional bumper beam is available for an OEM-like installation.

Product Notes: Slight trimming of bumper ducting and removal of factory bumper beam required.
