The AMS Performance VW / Audi 2.0T TSI EA888 Front Mount Intercooler is designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, utilizing stock mounting points and purpose-built aluminum cast end tanks for the Golf R. This intercooler offers over 64% more core volume compared to the restrictive stock unit, providing improved cooling for high-performance applications.

The intercooler features a high-efficiency tube and fin core, 22 fins per inch, and is hand TIG welded in a jig for precise fitment. The CFD-designed directional vane inlet tank ensures even air dispersal across the core. The AMS Golf R Intercooler retains the factory crash beam, uses all factory mounting points, and requires no cutting or trimming.

With a core that is 67% thicker than stock and manufactured in Europe by a reputable motorsports supplier, this intercooler is suitable for a range of power levels, from near stock to 800 HP.
