The AMS EVO X Clutch Master Cylinder Upgrade Kit is designed to address the common failure of the plastic clutch master cylinder found in the 2008+ Mitsubishi Evolution X when used with an aftermarket clutch. Increased clamping force from aftermarket clutches can strain the hydraulic system, causing the factory master cylinder to split and lose pressure, which can leave the vehicle stranded.

This kit adapts the factory steel unit from an EVO VIII/IX, preventing failures associated with increased fluid pressure during spirited driving or with upgraded clutch kits. The adapter plate is precisely machined for a flawless fit against the firewall, and the kit includes all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation.

Engineered for longevity, the kit features a gold anodized aluminum adapter bracket to prevent corrosion, a steel ball-cup link for durability, and a stainless steel-braided hydraulic line with a protective nylon coating for abrasion resistance. A sealing foam ring is included to keep moisture and dirt out of the passenger compartment.
