AMS’ Q60 and Q50 Red Alpha VR30 Auxiliary Intercooler Pump Kit is designed as an essential upgrade for all non-Red Sport vehicles. The VR30 twin turbos produce significant heat, which can reduce performance. INFINITI addressed this by adding a second intercooler pump on Red Sport models. AMS offers a solution to bring non-Red Sport models up to Red Sport cooling performance at a lower cost.

This kit is intended to complement the Q50/Q60 Red Alpha Heat Exchanger, Red Alpha Auxiliary Coolant Tank, and the Red Alpha Expansion Tank for enhanced VR30 cooling.

The Red Alpha VR30 Auxiliary Intercooler Pump Kit includes all components required for a direct bolt-in installation. Each pump is individually flow tested to ensure performance and includes comprehensive online installation instructions. The pump is controlled by the OEM ECU and functions like the OEM Red Sport pump. It is wired with a dedicated power supply from the battery to prevent voltage loss at full speed.

Note: The installation instructions provided were completed using a Q50 Silver Sport. Some steps may vary depending on model and trim level. Component differences exist between models and trims, but the basic installation procedure remains the same.

Note: Bleeding the intercooler system requires the OEM CONSULT tool or a bleeding system such as an Air Lift or Vacuum Venturi Cooling System Refilling System, available at major automotive tool retailers. Refer to the Bleeding Section at the end of the instructions before proceeding.
