The Alpha Mercedes-Benz AMG M133 Carbon Fiber Performance Intake System is designed to boost power by allowing the turbo to draw in all the cold air it needs. This system replaces the factory ducting to provide a cool air charge and maximum power, while also reducing turbo lag. The smooth transition to a larger filter size improves airflow and enhances the driving experience by making the turbo spool audible.

The system features a 4″ inlet compared to the stock 2.6″ design, significantly reducing pressure drop and restriction in the intake path. The carbon fiber cold air intake duct eliminates airflow disruptions caused by the OEM corrugated plastic duct and internal support pillar. The sealed air box and inlet design ensure the intake draws cool outside air, maintaining power even when the hood is closed.

This intake system is constructed with CNC’d billet aluminum and features an anodized coating for durability. The carbon fiber weave is matched to the A45 AMG engine cover, and the Alpha logo is color-matched to the AMG trim for a cohesive under-hood appearance. Installation is non-invasive and requires no permanent modifications, taking approximately 10-15 minutes.

Product Notes: The filters use specially designed media that can be restored to near new performance using compressed air (30-40 psi) from the inside out. For deep cleaning, a biodegradable cleaner may be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying for 24 hours. As these carbon fiber parts are hand laid, slight imperfections or weave variances may be present. Installation instructions are provided in two separate guides for the intake filter/adapter and the box lid/duct; reference both during installation.
