The Alpha Mercedes-Benz AMG M133 2.0L Performance Air Intake increases power by allowing the turbo to draw in more cold air. This upgrade enables the turbo to spool up audibly, enhancing the driving experience for enthusiasts.

The engineering team identified restriction in the factory intake system and addressed it with a larger, smoother filter transition. Upgrading from the 2.6″ factory inlet filter to a 4″ design significantly reduces pressure drop, resulting in a 20+ HP gain with this modification alone.

Unlike some aftermarket systems that draw hot air from the engine bay, this intake utilizes the sealed air box to ensure the turbo is fed with cool outside air for optimal performance. Installation is straightforward, requiring no cutting or permanent modifications, and can be completed in 15 minutes or less. CNC billet aluminum construction and an anodized coating provide durability, while the synthetic high-flow dry media filter offers long-term, low-maintenance operation.

An optional Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Duct and Air Box Lid are available for improved performance and appearance, replacing the restrictive factory plastic air duct and support pillar with a smoother, higher-flow design.

Product Notes: The filter uses a specially designed media that restores performance and efficiency by cleaning with compressed air (30-40 psi) from the inside out. Frequent washing is unnecessary. For deep cleaning after exposure to extreme environments, use a biodegradable cleaner, soak or spray the filter, allow to loosen dirt, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before use.
