The hand-built Mercedes Benz AMG 5.5L V8 Biturbo engine delivers strong luxury class power for the 2011 and newer AMG lineup. However, the factory detuned output of the CLS63 to 518 horsepower, leaving room for further performance gains.

An Alpha calibration file enables the 5.5L Biturbo engine to reach 701 horsepower by precisely adjusting camshaft timing, boost, and air/fuel ratios, with no additional modifications required. This upgrade provides a significant increase in power over stock, surpassing even the Lamborghini Gallardo.

With the Alpha file installed, the AMG produces 830 ft-lbs of torque, a gain of 312 ft-lbs, with increased power across the entire rpm range. The calibration maintains smooth, stock-like drivability and does not affect fuel economy during partial throttle or cruising speeds. The tuning is developed in-house by experienced specialists, optimizing all aspects of engine performance while preserving reliability.
