Since 2009, stock-style turbo upgrades for the R35 Nissan GTR have typically used OEM “turbofolds” with machined housings to fit larger aftermarket turbo CHRAs. However, the factory manifold is designed for compactness and optimized only for OEM power and boost levels, which reveals limitations when modified. Many current stock-style options have poor boost control or excessive boost creep, sometimes requiring high octane race fuel at all times.

With the introduction of the 2020 GT-R, the AMS Snailworks Engineering Team developed a way to optimize stock location turbo kit offerings by matching the OEM two-piece manifold and turbine housing design with integrated improvements. By casting proprietary two-piece manifolds and turbine housings, all shortcomings of the OEM castings are addressed, eliminating core charges and machining lead times.

The AMS Performance ALPHA line of turbo kits has set benchmarks in GTR performance. The new OMEGA Turbo Kit line represents the next evolution, aiming to deliver high-performing and reliable street car turbo kits without compromise. The OMEGA 11 kit features the first 2020-style two-piece manifold design on the market, optimized exhaust manifolds, and advanced Garrett G-Series turbocharger CHRAs.

Note: Fits all USDM, JDM, Gulf, and European models (LHD and RHD).

Note: 2020+ model year vehicles will reuse their existing OEM exhaust manifolds. 2009-2019 model year vehicles must use the full AMS turbine housing and manifold system.

Note: Not compatible with OEM stock intakes. Standard carbon intakes are required and available separately.

Note: Compatible with OEM LICP, but upgraded AMS 3″ lower intercooler piping is available separately.
